I review a gaming site.

OK, I'm gonna start another review of a site.

freeware.remakes.org, as it calls itself, is a wonderful site with lots of info on sometimes obscure freeware games. The games have only short, but applicable reviews (which I agreed with for all the games I had played), and has download links and screenshots.

Recommended for anyone without ten thousand dollars for games, who plays games on a daily basis.

Do you play chess, Era?  Chess.com is where it's at, man.  Free, too.

I do play chess, but only a little. I prefer massive RTS to chess, because the computers are either too crummy or too good, and playing against other people always ends up with them crying. Or me losing. You can guess my win-loss ratio (1-10).

Erathoniel,

Good pick. There are several items in the RPG, Strategy, and Adventure categories that I find intriguing. It's a mixed bag of stuff, to be sure, and a lot of the items look like really amateur efforts, but not only does it include staples of preferred freebie lists of the past 6 months like Sam and Max Season 1 Episode 4 and C&C Gold, but much more obscure items like the 1.2Gb FMV adventure Fate by Numbers, a Dutch graduate student project. As much as people seem to loathe FMV, I found some FMV games to be really fun (although this is probably a conversation for another topic).
