Listen to Erathoniel ranting on and on in good ol' conservative Christian fashion.

Lost Planet is a game for PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3. It has beautiful graphics and satisfying gameplay. It combines mechs with traditional on-foot combat for an decayed-urban environment with plenty of wonderful sights to see.

Lost Planet uses two forms of health and ammo. One is the conventional health or ammo display, which has an major effect on gameplay. The second is Thermal Energy. Thermal Energy heals the main character in single player, though it is needed for life in single-and-multi-player modes. Thermal Energy is used for ammunition in certain powerful energy weapons, and fuels the Vital Suits, or mechs, to move across the battlefield quickly and use their powerful melee and ranged attacks.

Lost Planet is an explosive action game, with a storyline that can best be described as "Meh." Sure it would be good, but it's been done beyond necessity. Five @'s, for a game with fun singleplayer action, and a good multiplayer experience.

I always wanted to play this title. But your article makes me want to play even more. I never picked it up though because people I knew kept comparing it to GOW and saying it wasn't as good. I may pick it up once the price drops a bit more.

I never played Gears of War, but Lost Planet is a decent game in and of itself.

I never liked it. It seemed kind of boring to me.
