   Today I will be discussing monologuing about why Cave Story (Dokutsusomethingsomething) is so awesome.

    The aspects Cave Story has going for it are its great storyline, its easy yet complex puzzle-shooter gameplay, and its pretty awesome soundtrack. First, I love Cave Story for its storyline. It's simple, yet moving, and you get plenty of choices on what you do and how you do it, despite its more-or-less linear nature. You can even skip the ending hour or five of the game. Second, Cave Story is awesome for its easy and complex puzzle-shooter gameplay. You don't run around shooting, you run around doing things and shooting bad guys to level up your guns while avoiding being hit. Third, I love Cave Story for its music. Even before the remixes I usually listen to, Cave Story's music is cheerful, somber, action-packed, and relaxing when it needs to be and feel just right.

    Cave Story also has good graphics that work very well with the music, and a unique feel that makes it one of the best freeware games you will find.
