Listen to Erathoniel ranting on and on in good ol' conservative Christian fashion.
A Counter-Article
Published on May 2, 2008 By erathoniel In Blogging

Look, I blog primarily in chunks of about fifteen minutes, and I rarely put more than five articles out in a row. I don't really put out those many articles. I blog when I can, so when I write multiple articles, it's because I have some time to write articles and JU is working well for me.

I'm not shoving out everyone else's articles. Heck, post "Week in Review" articles if you think I am. I don't care. If it's just that I write in clusters ticking you off, be glad about it!

If you want people to consider your "conservative Christian" fashion, you need to be respectful.  It's that simple.  And you're not doing that.

And just so you know, I'm a "conservative" Christian, too.  But if you want to win others for Christ, man, shoving your ideas down their throats and pissing people off isn't the way to do it.

DOH! Boy, do I have a short memory! I forgot I took the pledge to ignore your post NO MATTER WHAT!

@ Marcie: I never force others to believe. However, if people do not respect me, why respect them?

@ Roy: No.

lol...because if you're going to be a Christian you RESPECT other people no matter what you believe or what they believe.  Jesus didn't flick people off when they were spitting on Him...He loved them any way.

Did I ever say that respect is the same as love? I harbor no ill will towards anyone on JU.

Respect, though, is above the minimal standards of decency. I can remain decent, yet still believe someone to be a sophomoric vocabulary-impaired four year old.

Many people seem to have that belief about you.

But...continue on.  As I read, I find that you refuse to comprehend what any of the "old-timers" are telling you.  You come across as a smug, self-righteous know-it-all who doesn't have to follow the traditions of customs of the "country" he's in because he's above it all, and his culture is better.

So...the rest of the Christians here on JU have to pick up the pieces because you make us look like idiots.

Wonderful.

I was refering to swearing as vocabulary-impaired.

I claim to be no better, do I?

I'm sorry if I make us all look like idiots.
