Cortex Command is an awesome game. I'll say it straight out. It's a platform action-strategy game with mod support and resource management. I'll let some screenshots speak more about it's style, and I'll just give a general description. It's fast, frenetic, and strategic, with resource gathering and management (gold), and a lot of action. It's a fun game, and it recieves a Teen rating for Medium Violence on the VCGW rating system. It's fun like all heck, though, and physics based. It costs $18, and it's a wonderful indie game.

Screenshots may be from old versions of Cortex Command.
Anyways, you get to see everything here. The Pie Menu, Split-screen, the violence, rockets exploding (that's from a recent version, if not Build 20, the current one), the basic view. The screens are just from random internet places (via Google and Yahoo image searches). It's a good game, and it's really fun if you've got a lot of friends and one PC. If you don't own it, buy it now.
