Not too long ago I donated blood. I sat down and immediately wished that I'd drank some more water before, due to a salty-dry taste in my mouth (from eating fast food crap right before, none less). The pain was relatively minor. I've had IV's and shots before, and it felt just like an IV. This means that it wasn't too bad, but not something I'd do for fun. It took about ten minutes by my reckoning (Probably 5). It was my first time donating, but I didn't feel too bad. Until about four hours when I stood up too quickly and started walking out of a room. The blackout that ensued lasted only about half a second, but I was lucky that I caught my fall on a counter.
However, it was all worth it for the cookies. And doing a good deed.
