Politics. How boring.

John McCain would make the best president for three reasons. He will get respect from foreign nations, he has all the necessary experience, and he will lead the nation through the turbulent times we face.

First, John McCain would make the best president because he will get respect from foreign nations. Our opponents are known to have racist and sexist members, and therefore having a female or African American president, while an important civil rights goal, is not best suited for our nation right now. Second, John McCain would make the best choices for America because he has the necessary experience. An ex-POW and an experienced politician, John McCain knows war and peace greater than any of the other candidates. Third, John McCain is the best presidential candidate because he will lead the nation through the dangerous times ahead safely. He knows what to do in an emergency due to his experience, and he is acceptable by all foreign nations.

John McCain is America's best Presidential Candidate because he can lead the nation through the dangers ahead, he is experienced, and will recieve respect from our opponents and allies alike.

Like a broken record, you don't seem to know how to write anything intelligent or original.

Let me take this one!

"Why are you talking to George Bush?"

Hey! maybe we can do a whole blog on stupid and inane statements that waste space!

Oh wait, I think she already did a couple of them.

You referenced someone who was never right and refuses to admit their errors. That is practically Bush's middle name.

Or yours, Politico.

Yes sir!

McCain for president.

John McCain says that he is about reaching across the aisle. He's shown that be teaming up with Democrats to help get Democrat issues past. Please name ONE time when he got a Democrat to team up with him to get a Republican issue past.

John McCain isn't about bipartisanship, he's about spinelessness. He says he would nominate strict constructionist judges, but with his track record, what makes anyone believe that he would stand up to a Democrat controlled congress in getting them comfirmed?

John McCain has perpetuated the man made global warming lie.

If you ask me, Sen. John McCain retired his spine when he retired from the navy. He's been nothing but a lap dog ever since.

A vote for him is a vote for a moderate democrat at best...

It's not his fault the democrats are so bull-headed.

I've never heard JMC talk about global warming. Second, us Republicans are against it on general.

So why does he keep kissing up to them if they have proven their lack of insterest in bipartisanship.

You need to get out more often...

John McCain has a proud record of common sense stewardship. Along with his commitment to clean air and water, and to conserving open space, he has been a leader on the issue of global warming with the courage to call the nation to action on an issue we can no longer afford to ignore.

That from his own website!

In an attempt at bipartisanship.

I get more info on politics from staying inside. At least I don't have agoraphobia.

Eh, but that's just press talkie. No backing. Just a sell. And the democrats are entirely just sell.

Were you born a total idiot, or is this just a mid life career change? He makes NO attempt at bipartisanship, he merely kisses up to Democrats and refuses to stand up to them. It isn't "press talkie", it is McCain's own words.

There isn't a single reason why any honest, ethical conservative to back McCain. There is voting against Obama and there is mindlessly voting Republican (even though the Republican party has blatantly told Conservativess their is no place in their party for us anymore). Of course, we are still waiting to see who McCain chooses as a runningmate, which is his final chance at showing a little backbone. Personally, I doubt the little jellyfish will choose someone who will further prove his allegiences to the Democrats, but I am willing to wait and see on that one.

Meh, you say it like it's bad to compromise. We ain't getting a stinkin' conservative any way we go, and McCain's the closest it can get. Second, the guy himself can very well make press talkie.

I hope that it'll be Huckabee. I really do. But I do believe that McCain isn't as bad as he's painted to be.

The one reason, if nothing else, is the lesser of evils syndrome.

Huckabee? The guy who raised taxes in Arkansas MORE than Bill Clinton?

Huckabee will win McCain a few Christian Conservative votes, but if he is named as the VP the Fiscal conservative vote will stay far away.

McCain is a divider for the Republican party, if he wants to win support of the Conservative base, he needs to find a uniter. Niether Huckabee or Romney will fit the bill for that.

McCain gives us a lot of reasons NOT to vote for him... he needs to name a running mate that will give Republicans a reason TO vote for him.

"The lesser of two evils" isn't a strategy, it's a pathetic excuse for people to vote like lemmings for a party that doesn't give a flying flip about them.

If McCain is the face of the new Republican Party then there is no reason to vote Republican.

I do, too, because a McCain-Huckabee ticket is unelectable, because Huckabee is the Antichrist. That, and he's a jerk.

Interesting how a Christian defends a candidate by calling him "evil" and a liar.
