Listen to Erathoniel ranting on and on in good ol' conservative Christian fashion.

I struggled with pornography for a long time. It was something I hated, and something I wished it was near-impossible to find. But just how hard is it to find porn?

Not. Despite the fact that it should be behind an age-gate, many sources of porn run it behind no protection, or minimal. One site is incompatible with firefox, so porn can be accessed without any age-verification.

And age verification? "Are you 18?". That's all. There are a few sites I've visited with full age-gates, but about eighty percent of those I ever went to had no separate age gate or even a visible age-verification system in Firefox.

And how hard is it to accidentally access porn? In a week, I got 2 porn links disguised as normal links, and I got ads for material without soliciting them while browsing on otherwise clean sites.

Filters work about ninety percent of the time, but some pornography does not use names or keywords familiar to filter software, and adding in the lingo for every type of porn is nearly impossible. And filters can often be disabled or worked around, so they may not even be effective.

So, I ask you, do we need a reform in the internet porn? I believe very strongly that we do. It exists, it's practically marketed to minors, and it is addictive and shameful. It causes emotional and psychological damage, and is a pox upon the sight of humanity.

Porn exists. It is a concept that while dangerous and unacceptable to some, is considered entertainment by others. Rather than get into a prolonged and endless argument, why not give it its own" web" so children don't have to stumble over it everywhere they go?

It's not hard. Pun intended.

Lame.

Anyways, I think porn is fine the way it is right now. It should be free, and it should be available to all. Why? Because it's perfectly natural and healthy.

And let me tell you something, the only reason Porn is the big "OMG" that it is today is because our governments make out sex and naked human bodies to be bad. I guarantee in the cave man ages, nakedness and public fucking and all the other taboos and so forth we're not a big deal. They did it everyday, and I'm sure their children saw. It was perfectly natural, naive, and honest. Their was no shame or disgrace associated with it I'm sure.

They probably thought, well hell, THIS feels damn good. Let's keep doing this, fuck, let's spread the word around, c'mon everybody let's fuck!

And then came religion. Which shamed everybody into thinking for playing with eachothers twats and cocks that they are going to hell or some weird ass shit like that. Bullshit.

Fast forward to modern times, and sex and human bodies are taboos and are devilry. Absolute bullshit.

I say to everyone, GO FUCK YOURSELF. And I mean it sincerely, and I say it with a smile, and you should be smiling too while playing with yourself. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. DON'T FEEL ASHAMED.

In my country we're have low against pornography(even artistic nude) now . you can sit in prison for a long time for it. but my country is not successfully shiny and happy. and our children not angels. coz when you start to filter something, you filter not just bad, but good things too

and prohibition of porn makes it more wanted!

Besides. I'd rather my son or daughter watch porn and relieve their sexual tension alone and in their own privacy, than getting pregnant, or perhaps turning into a serial kilelr all because they couldn't relieve themselves.

FUCK THE FEARMONGERS!

It should be free, and it should be available to all.

Are you under the impression that it's free to produce?

on Apr 26, 2009

Quit blaming the porn and the free access of it for your unhealthy relationship with it. The problem is your chemical makeup...not the existence of porn on the net.

Well said... people railing at an activating event (in this case, porn), would do better to work on their relationship with it so it stops interfering with their life.

Totalitarianism aside, kinda hard to find examples that bypass the freedom to choose and 'controls' people without their consent.

Let's be realistic here..  Tobacco laws got more strict and it helped stop some minors from smoking (not many)..  However, minors still smoke and they will continue to do so (regardless of laws) while it exists.  Tobacco will more than likely always exist, right?

Porn..  It doesn't matter the laws on that either..  If minors want to view it, they will..  Some sort of "international no porn policy" may stop some (not many) from viewing..  But again, as long as it exists..  It will be infact viewed by minors.

Both of these situations carry the same basic concept IMO.  Minors will do it, because they want to and it's deemed sooo "evil" by a lot of adults to do so.  Or, they do it simply because they feel like it.  No amount of law will ever stop minors from doing so (didn't stop me anyways when I was a minor)..  It'll just cause them to be arrested when everything gets insanely strict.

I stopped smoking a month ago (I still view porn, f it..  lol)  I didn't stop because of the increasing prices..  I wouldn't have stopped if the laws suddenly made it illegal..  I didn't stop because anyone told me to or because they were somehow hard to find..  I stopped because I wanted to.

All in all I guess the entire point is here..  Laws don't need to be more strict than they already are.  Minors will still do things regardless of their legality, difficulty to find...  or whatever...

And to this post:

Are you under the impression that it's free to produce?

As a matter of fact, there's a lot of it that is..  lol..

As a matter of fact, there's a lot of it that is.. lol..

My husband informed me that thumbnails and imagination are free, LOL.

Texas Wahine , Yes I am. I could simply film me and my fiance fucking in the back of an el camino using my phone cam. Low production values, but virtually no cost. Free to make brother. I simply upload it on the internet and created porn. There's a name for it. Amateur porn. Check the sub categories on the sidebar next time you look at your favorite free porn site.
What now?

What now?

Where are the tentacles and tropical fish exchanges?  (I looked and there are no appropriate emoticons for this particular comment, LOL).

More than likely you could go for an emoticon reply like this..  makes sense if you really follow the timeline I've created:

That's about all I can think of in this situation.

The only porn that should be controlled (out of existence) is child pornography and anything to do with child exploitation.  Oh yeah, and anything to do with rape and/or violence; snuff movies and the like.

I could also include stuff involving animals, which is particularly abhorrent to me, but then, various authorities have been trying to stamp out 'nasty' porn for years and have failed to do so. While there is a market it will continue to be displayed in magazines, cinemas and on the internet... because the censors and those trying to police the anti-nasty porn laws do not have all seeing eyes or far enough reaching arms.

As for the mutual 'natural' stuff, even mutual fetishes between consenting adults, well that's another story and I am neither for or against it.  Providing it is privately viewed by consenting adults and not shown to children, I don't see a lot wrong with it when viewed responsibly.

So I doubt if you were on clean sites !!

Oh yes, one can be affected/reached by porn on 'purportedly clean' sites.  When I was new to the internet and searching for music links/information, I often had porn popups/popunders when searching so-called music related sites.  At one point, I clicked on a link to a music query (from within one of my search results) and I was taken to a page that had porn (as well as other things) on it.  Worse still, clicking on the back button to return to my google search page didn't work... it just resulted in a loop that kept taking me back to that and/or other pages containing porn.

Yup, my browser was hijacked and I was getting unsolicited porn spam in my email box... which I no longer get because I've since changed ISP/address and refuse point blank to use Google search/mail or any of its other products/services ever again.

on Apr 26, 2009

Cynth, I do NOT give the thumbs up to violation of innocent tropical fish.  LOL.

I do agree that child porn is one that should be cracked down on.

I don't know if I feel the same way about donkey/koala/greyhound porn.  If you can eat it, is it really less humane to f*ck it?  (kidding!)

I have NEVER had porn pop-ups.  Just sayin'.  And when I used Limewire I was intelligent enough to know not to click on things that might scar me for life.

Erathaniel and Lucas are two different kids.

for real?  very similar writing style (whining style too, for that matter) but i trust your wisdom ms w.

kingbee.....where're the links to this stuff?

i appear to stand corrected and i've removed the content of both comments.  (my previous observations about intervenous porn injection techniques seem to me still appropriate).

i guess too much porn done addled my brain.

on Apr 26, 2009

Texas Wahine, lol good point. But I suppose we could get creative. We could use fish/ tentacle halloween costumes.... again, low production value, but hey you never said anything about the real deal. Or perhaps go to the local Fish market, grab a couple of fish, and help some mexicans border hop in exchange for face fucking fish in a porno to be uploaded on the internet. lawlll sick, but you asked for it.
