Listen to Erathoniel ranting on and on in good ol' conservative Christian fashion.

Look, I blog primarily in chunks of about fifteen minutes, and I rarely put more than five articles out in a row. I don't really put out those many articles. I blog when I can, so when I write multiple articles, it's because I have some time to write articles and JU is working well for me.     I'm not shoving out everyone else's articles. Heck, post "Week in Review" articles if you think I am. I don't care. If it's just that I write in clusters ticking you of...

The Golden Rule is the best way to live, second to a truly Biblical life. The Golden Rule is a guideline simply stating: "Do to others as you would have them do to you."     So, consider this. Have you broken the Golden Rule? It a prerequisite of respect.

Respect is a minimal standard of decency that is required to be given before it can be recieved. It requires that one rises above one's barbarian state, above the minimal legal and ethical standards. Respect can only be given if prerequisites are met. No threatening No duress Civility Nobility Peacekeeping Wisdom Intimacy Disclosure Accountability Freedom     Therefore, I find most of the people on JU unworthy of my respect.

God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are the Trinity. They are joined in consciousness, although they are three seperate entities. They are one being in the physical sense. They are not vengeful, do not grow angry, and are just and merciful. They will forgive any transgressions. They will send those who refuse them to Hell. They will take those who follow them, and only them, to Heaven. They are our conscience and the source of our souls. They created the universe.   &...

I believe, quite simply, that there is one way to Heaven, and it is a simple one. Unconditional belief in Jesus Christ (God incarnate) as one's Savior, with no others. One is not saved by deeds, but through faith, that none may boast. I also believe that there is damnation for those who profess that Jesus Christ is not the only way to Heaven. It might appear selfish to an outsider, but I believe that God made the universe, therefore He has given us one chance of salvation, and...

You can never persecute me, for when I am persecuted, I believe it all as gain, for through me people may see the patience and love of Jesus Christ and through my loss they may be saved. You can not provoke me into retaliation, for I have lost nothing. All I request is that you are decent and do not go beyond the line. There is a clear line between arguing your point and intimidation and name calling. Everything you do to me, physically, will break my bones but not my spirit. ...

Now, I'm a fan of overhead shooters. Almost all the games I've ever made (like 60% of them, and 90% of the playable ones) are overhead shooters. They are awesome, simple, and have lots of room for improvement. Anyways, RIP 3 takes the generic top-down shooter and adds light RPG elements. You acquire new weapons (off the field) and skills (through level up). Over time you go from a weak version of Death to a near-omnipotent Grim Reaper. It has a "Flower Mode" for those who hate blood (th...

Cats are a great pet. They are among the easiest animals to care for. My indoor cat went to the vet once since I got her, to have her claws out. They really only require food (though indoor cats will also need a litter-box and all its related work and cost) and a little bit of love. They can do well in small or large spaces (though it depends on the type of cat, more personality than anything else), some like water (there's a breed, don't remember which off the top of my head, Turks?), and al...

Today I'm gonna write a review of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. It's an awesome game, really, with well over 25 hours (wonder why I didn't post yesterday) of small-time sub-plot scrabbling around as far as I've gotten. No "xp" system either, like Morrowind, so it plays realistically versus most other RPG's. Its graphics are great (360 version), and it plays quickly and smoothly. Also, it has good challenges (optional and not), which allow the player to play on any difficulty and still be rewar...

I know how to fix our planet's carrying capacity. Launch most of the top 2% of people into space (a demographic I may fall into, mind you). Enjoy what they leave behind as you prepare for a nuclear bombardment of all continents but Antarctica (I claim first dibs to fallout shelters there). Next, wait a hundred years. Return to your normal places on Earth (or tell your posterity to). Kill any survivors you find. No more carrying capacity troubles. And, on a bright side, it only...

Now, this article will be terribly pessimistic, but it's from a secular standpoint more than a religions one.     We are reaching Earth's carrying capacity, our limited resources of water and nutrients are being taken too greatly, and we will soon perish. The way to prevent this is a dramatic conservation plan, involving fewer man-made amenities, and desalination plants, and a variety of other processes. And that's only a short-term solution. We also are runn...

Did you know that 90%-95% of mass in the universe is unaccounted for? I believe that there is no mass (or else God is the mass), and God is holding the universe together with his wonderful salvation giving hand.     Prove me wrong, I dare ya'.
