Listen to Erathoniel ranting on and on in good ol' conservative Christian fashion.

The Obama Facade is Obama's political opinions. He is the most liberal senator, he has the least experience possible to get far, he has never made an important decision, and, more importantly, he tries to hide his position. He abstains from voting to try to win opinions. He avoids controversy, though he still has more than he can handle. He insists that people "respect" him and his wife, while, to tell you the truth, he can't even take simple name-calling that's been in every political race ...

Dogfight is a 2d combat flight simulator. It's not to be confused with the Kuma Reality game with a similar title. It's a fun enough game, with splitscreen capabilities. It takes place in pretty much any setting you could want, with early flight to relatively recent planes, and even Star Wars vessels (at least in the version I have). It's got a decent amount of realism for a 2d game, and it's only real flaw is that it's a bit glitchy at times. I give it four @'s, and since it's free, and splitsc...

Many people have asked why bad things happen. They ask what they did to deserve it, and they may become bitter or angry at God, the world, life, or other people. And, to tell you the truth, they're justified. But, they do not understand how a "loving" God would let them suffer. I present a number of reasons why bad things happen.    First, we have free will. This is our greatest loss, for it leads to all our suffering. In other words, bad things happen, often, because s...

Crossfire is an open-source MMORPG. It can be played on almost any platform (Java, Open Source, platform-specific compiles). It's downside? It's hard to learn. "apply" uses everything, and it can be a little daunting, and limiting, to have one interaction with most everything. However, once you get past the limited interactions and minor confusion, it's a fun game. It plays a lot like a roguelike without key-command binds, though you could, if you really wanted to, make your own binds (th...

Space Siege is the sucessor to Dungeon Siege, a wonderful game. But does it live up to it's predecessor's glory? Nope. Not at all. It reminds me of one of those arcade-style games that have the 60-minute demo that nobody buys because they're tired of it before they get through it, with more lag. Seriously, on minimum settings, I got about 3 FPS on my laptop. I might contemplate it on GameTap, or if I had a better computer, but it falls in the middle ground of casual and comple...

Cortex Command is an awesome game. I'll say it straight out. It's a platform action-strategy game with mod support and resource management. I'll let some screenshots speak more about it's style, and I'll just give a general description. It's fast, frenetic, and strategic, with resource gathering and management (gold), and a lot of action. It's a fun game, and it recieves a Teen rating for Medium Violence on the VCGW rating system. It's fun like all heck, though, and physics based. It cost...

What phobias do you have? I fall victim to a blend of phobias, none of which are terribly pleasant (fortunately, nor fairly common, save nyctophobia). Tell me if I'm misclassifing any of these. Also, none of them affect me in a virtual environment. Acrophobia- Fear of heights. 12 feet is about how much it takes to trigger it. I will stay far away from any edges that could cause falling (even railing that doesn't go up to my chest). Aviophobia- Fear of flying. Not too bad, but I avoid...

Too Human is a science-fiction action RPG coming out in August, set in an alternate history with Norse mythological overtones. Basically, the "gods" of the Norse pantheon are super-soldiers, waging a war against a robot horde. Over time, robots became "monsters", and you are fighting for the last hope of humanity.   The game takes place in a realistic setting, and in the demo level you see a mixture of clean utopia and ruins. Good graphics, nice feel, looks nice together. Also, yo...

What is the image of God? The Bible preaches that man is made in God's image. So, what part of man is representative of God? There are proponents of the "body" theory, which states that our bodies are made in the image of God. This basically states that God is in form, a biped with two arms, two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, and whatnot. This is, however, a theory, though it can be theoretically reinforced by stating that it is written that "the body is the T...

Spectre entered the cockpit of his Mad Cat MK II. The formidable 90-ton battlemech was the terror of Steiner loyal pilots anywhere. He may have been a mercenary, but that didn't limit him to impartiality, did it? Here in the Solaris VII Steiner Coliseum, the Lyrans still had to fear him on their home turf.      Spectre examined the weapons panel. The LRM 20's and LRM 10's allowed him to launch a sixty round barage if he fired both missile silos, th...

Does the dream make the future, or the future make the dream?      16-782 sat up in bed. He was tired of this. Tired of living by a number. Tired of living for the science. Tired of Ganymedes. The knowledge of everything past to gain the knowledge of the future. That was Project Ganymedes. To steal the future from the Gods. What good did it do? 16 didn't know. He wanted one thing. Out. To leave the project behind, leave the scientists, leave the ...

Cactoblasta said: "Humanism is a democratic and ethical life stance, which affirms thathuman beings have the right and responsibility to give meaning andshape to their own lives. It stands for the building of a more humanesociety through an ethic based on human and other natural values in thespirit of reason and free inquiry through human capabilities. It is nottheistic, and it does not accept supernatural views of reality." This is the statement of the International Humanist and Ethical Uni...

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I do not subscribe to the Church of Secular Humanism (just take the tax exemption, already), so this work is not technically "heretical", and it is filled with my bias, but you can try to prove me wrong. Introduction:      Hitler subscribed to the teachings of Darwin in making his racist, hate-filled Third Reich which, at one point, threatened to take over the world and create a eugenics-fed super-planet. This man was, undoubtedly...
