I do some messing around with graphical arts. (Included sample below, you can use it if it's true) The easiest program to use for vector graphics is Inkscape. It's simple, easy, and has more novice-user available options than Illustrator does. Plus it's much more complex in what you can do, but easier to do what you want without any hassle. It even supports layers (using XML). I recommend Inkscape to: Private Artists, Educational Org...
Now, granted, the Holocaust affected more than just the Jewish, but the table above points out the amount of total deaths being almost 6 million. Include other "purged" groups, and the toll raises to well above six milion. The main reasons one would deny the Holocaust is if one cannot believe the extent or human cruelty, or is a Nazi symphasizer. There are other, small reasons, but all are insignifigant. People cannot believe the extent of huma...
I've got some questions on what makes the best reading experience for you. Should I keep the 1st/3rd person switching? Should I limit myself to only Tremulous stuff, or include some of my own brainstorms? Would you enjoy if I tried to draw something to give you rough sketches of the items not already in Tremulous? Should I keep a glossary of all my original additions if I make any? Should I make a sentient alien/plot twist to allow Alex to communicate with the aliens, or lea...
Tribes is an awesome trilogy. I prefer the first for its mods, the second for its multiplayer, and the third for its single player. All are deities among the common rabble of other games. Tribes is one of the longest running game franchises, and really deserves a sequel, though Garage Games is working on that. Seriously, though, Tribes is awesome. All three of them. Vengeance got quite a bit of trouble for its deficient multiplayer, but the singleplayer is enjoyable. Tribes 1 ...
JoeUser and Firefox seem to be having falling outs with each-other when it comes to writing articles. Is it my plugin blend, or is there actually something causing the problem with base Firefox?
I started playing TM:NF yesterday, and it's pretty darn fun (erathoniel in game, if you wanna add me). It involves acrobatic high-speed stunt driving or more normal race driving on courses ranging from sprints to marathons. There are no problems with it, other than the editor crashing occasionally, once I put a lot of objects in my maps to beautify them. All in all, it gets a four @ rating, for elegant simplicity, good graphics, long...
Now, I'm probably the guiltiest party here, but don't you hate it when you or someone else updates like nine times really really quickly and it pushes everything else out. Like on my wiki and the GH Wiki, I always need to edit everything seven times. I do it here too, but there's no scrolling change list here. Anyways, doesn't it annoy you when people do that? Mind you, I have eleven articles today, IICC (If I Count Correctly), so I qualify majorly. Howev...

Welcome to my article about getting on the internet and not looking like a total ignorant biased jerk. I'm gonna make a list of no-no's. No name calling. Not even if they deserve it. If you do have to call someone something, use references to make sure it does not have any worse meanings than what you wish to imply. Don't start flame wars, nor carry them on. You may mediate them, though. It's unlikely you'll get anywhere. Most people, once anonymous, say whatever the...
Blogging is one of my major activities (with about four articles per day at the time of writing, haven taken only one day off for just over a week) that I enjoy. There are a couple things you need to know about blogging before you start. Blogging is not for everyone. You need to be able to take criticism. You can write about anything, but beware politics and religion unless you want a hard fight. It helps to have some people you know agree with you frequent your article...
And now I continue the planned epic Tremulous tale. I'll start with the last paragraph of Part 1 (follow the article link), and move onto part 2. Alex made it to the greenhouse without any problems. The greenhousewas the weakest part of the human's base, and it was on the exterior, but there was no reason the aliens would attack. The walls were strongand only dretches could get in through the vents. Dretches were easykills for the machinegun turrets, the g...
Life in the 22nd century will be harsh, unless we do something about it. I woke up today in my shanty. I got up, put on my clothes that I've worn for over a month straight. I can get them washed next free day. In another month. I walk down the rough concrete floors, weaving through the other workers as I head to the factory. Most of the workers are missing fingers, even feet from industrial accidents. I'm lucky not to be like them. I've been working since I t...
I am proud to be an American, but what I hate is when I hear people complaining about having this or that. Go south 300 or so miles, and you'l find a social system with an insane amount of poor and a handful of rich people. The rich use the poor to gain money. The poor work for weeks to feed their families. They always work, because if they stop even an hour, they will not have enough money to continue. So, America, quit yer whinin'.
Mormonism and Christianity vary in many ways. It would not be too big a leap to say they're different religions. Mormonism teaches that God achieved godhood by living a perfect life. Christianity (and Judaism) preaches that God is an infinite being, and always has been. "As Psalms 90:2 and 93:2 state, God has been God 'from eternity to eternity.'" Mormonism teaches that God is made of flesh and bones. Christianity (a...
Demon Hunter is a Christian metalcore band. Yes, apparently metalcore is a type of music. Better than (c)rap, that's for sure. Slow: 10- The songs have very few slow spots, but they build up perfectly. Fast: 9- The music is incredibly fast, but it is occasionally inappropriate for the feel. Intense: 10- If you enjoy intensity, look here. Mellow: 8- Not their specialty, but good. Experimental: 10- Pretty heavy, proven and tried with new elements. Quality: 10...
